COPPA Statement

Custodial Account COPPA Statement

Thank you for initiating the process to set up a Custodial Account. Setting up a Custodial Account means that You as the parent or legal guardian have elected to retain control of this Member's settings and access rights using the Jawger Service's parental controls. If any of the holders of these Custodial Accounts are under 13 years old, before You set up parental controls, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) requires that we obtain your permission to collect and store certain information about your child.

If one or more of the Custodial Account holders associated with your account is under 13, You will be prompted when providing your child's birth date to provide your acknowledgement that Jawger may use the personally identifying information you and your child provides on the Jawger Service. We encourage you to visit the parental controls ('Restrictions') while setting up your child's Custodial Account and choose settings you believe are appropriate for your child.

Privacy Practices Relating to the Jawger Service Online Products

We respect your privacy and the privacy of your family. Below we summarize how we use the information we collect from members who we know are under the age of 13, and take steps to protect their privacy. For a full description of how we use personal information collected by the Jawger Service, see our privacy policy.

COPPA Legal Disclosure

Collection of Personally Identifying Information. Following consent from a parent or guardian, we will collect personally identifying information such as: the child's and parents' names and contact information, log-in credentials, birth date, and other information such as user generated content, usage, and interests that is tied to these types of data. Jawger uses end-to-end encryption to protect personally identifying information, that is transmitted and stored by the Jawger Service. Jawger does not condition a child's participation in an activity on the disclosure of more personally identifying information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the activity.

Use of Personally Identifying Information. We may use the personally identifying information (as well as, in some cases, an Internet Protocol (IP) address) that we collect from a child to: authenticate log-in credentials, provide an interactive experience across Jawger Services, and/or provide customized content, or other information we believe your child may be interested in. Your child may receive promotional material from Jawger, as well as updates about the Jawger Service (to the extent you or your child has not opted-out out of such communications).

Sharing of Personally Identifying Information With Third Parties. We do not share a child's personally identifying information with Third Parties without prior consent of a parent or guardian. Third Party consent is not a condition to use the Jawger Services. You can read how we share personally identifying information with third parties for purposes described in our privacy policy. These third parties must agree to protect the security and confidentiality of your child's personally identifying information.

Your Ability to Manage Your Child's Personally Identifying Information. You may, at any time, review, correct, or delete personally identifying information that we maintain about your child by visiting Settings > Family Accounts > Custodial Accounts and choose the Custodial Account for which you would like to change settings.

Note that by providing consent in response to this notice, you are indicating that your child may post personally identifying information on interactive features available on the Jawger Service, and use the services and features available on the Jawger Service.
